At Midwest Chiropractic Care Center, we use a variety of treatments and modalities, alone and in combination with each other. To restore and maintain optimum health, the chiropractors, physical therapists, and massage therapists in our Mt. Prospect office work together, as partners on your health team.
Chiropractic Care - As chiropractors, we pay particularly close attention to the 24 moving bones of the spinal column, examining you for misalignments that can impair your nervous system and lead to pain, numbness, and muscle weakness throughout your body. By returning your vertebrae to their proper positions and removing interference, all the cells, tissues, and organs of your body can do what they do best: resist disease and restore good health. While traditional medicine is based largely on treating symptoms - through prescription medications and/or surgery - chiropractic is based on correcting the root cause and allowing your body to heal itself.
Physical Therapy - The goal of physical therapy is to restore and maintain movement and function, to get you out of pain and prevent relapse. Physical therapy can be extremely effective in treating loss of mobility caused by injury, illness, or even aging, and it can also help prevent injury.
Massage Therapy - As an adjunct to chiropractic care and physical therapy, deep-tissue massage can be extremely therapeutic. Massage therapy can help tendonitis, ligament sprains, and muscle sprains heal. By increasing circulation, inflammation goes down as waste products are removed and nutrition is restored to cells. In addition, massage therapy can reduce stress, relieve muscle tightness, eliminate muscle spasms, and prevent injuries.
Midwest Chiropractic Care Center - located in Mt. Prospect - we welcome patients from the Mt. Prospect, Des Plaines, Northbrook, Arlington Heights, and Park Ridge communities.
